About the Author:



David C. Wyld currently serves as an Associate Professor of Management at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA, where he teaches courses in business strategy and methods for dealing with the challenges of e-commerce and other contemporary management issues. Recently, he was named Director of the College of Business & Technology's Strategic e-Commerce Initiative. He earned his doctorate in management from the University of Memphis in 1993.



In additon to his traditonal teaching duties and research efforts, Dr Wyld has served as a consultant to major corporations on a wide range of topics. He has participated extensively in delivering college classes to non-traditional students in divergent settings, teaching in executive MBA programmes, and working with emerging on-line universities.



David, along with his wife, Karla and two sons, Spencer (8) and Carson (4), lives in Ponchatoula, LA. He is an avid runner - having run (and survived) seven marathons to date.
